I like that idea, I was thinking of fitting a small socket somewhere descreet to charge the battery from (for when its lounging in the garage) and to take small external accessory power from when its in use on camping trips etc and thats very neat DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

Neat job, I was expecting an Anderson connector though.

Certainly is a good place for an Anderson connector. Is the box big enough to hold a substantial size Anderson cable ? Seems like a good place to store it all togther

I didn't realise I "could" use the CTEK panel as a power source, totally went over my head there . I've still got more space in there as you can see so I might add a Anderson connector or a Battery Kill switch

Where did you buy this fender locker? As I bought one off Mudstuff some time ago, but it did not have a cap for the key lock...
Edit: Ah, I see on their website this is optional. Did not see this when I bougth it then... They look fantastic though Brendan's original looking mod looks good too. This thread raises two questions for me.
1. Brendan, how does your cover part fasten securely? 2. VeeTee, I recognise Jason's name from my d3 days. Is VeeTee the new name for MacLeod or is Mr Mac on here in his own right or has he not yet done the d3 to Def2 upgrade? 2015 110 USW XS in Santorini with premium contrast leather seats in tan/black, black headlining and with Dual Finish alloys (in the garage, now on Wolf rims with Goodyear MT/Rs) 2012 '62' 2.2 X-Tech 110 USW now gone ... 1984 90 soft top with full roll cage, 200 tdi engine etc now sold 2012 USW XS 2.2 "FUU" now gone.... |

The pic is quoted from Innuendomaster's post. I am not MacLeod... That was a mod I saw on a 110 in Estonia back in 2007? Then the Estonia lads were only allowed one winch in competition use. Hence the Anderson at front and rear end with a demountable winch. Cover was not securely fastened. Brendan |

Ah, Innuendo, you're identity has been uncovered. Welcome in and looking forward to your posts - you posted some fantastic stuff on disco3, idiot guides for idiots like me, that I found very useful C 2015 110 USW XS in Santorini with premium contrast leather seats in tan/black, black headlining and with Dual Finish alloys (in the garage, now on Wolf rims with Goodyear MT/Rs) 2012 '62' 2.2 X-Tech 110 USW now gone ... 1984 90 soft top with full roll cage, 200 tdi engine etc now sold 2012 USW XS 2.2 "FUU" now gone.... |

Not at all hiding, new name and new start. There's another Innuendomaster on Disco3 but that's Marcus.
Veetee, the cap is a £3 extra from Mud4x4, I wasn't going to bother with one but thought about water ingress into the lock, and through the lock to the box. |
