Injector camshaft bolts
I've driven myself goggle eyed tonight trying to find a part number or the specs for a replacement bolt that holds the camshaft that actuates the injectors on a Td5. I had one snap when I was undoing the camshaft to replace the seals and washers on the injectors. To get me by I refitted with a M8 threaded bolt but the thing is a 8.8 tensile bolt whereas the originals are IIRC 10.2.

I've eventually tracked down the Russian microcat diagrams(now bookmarked on this computer, I've changed my laptop since the last time I looked) and when it comes to those bolts they come as part of a kit along with the head bolts and as such give no seperate part number.

Has anyone got any idea as to what the part numbers are? It's a certain fact that I won't be getting any blue box ones from Craven Arms after stumbling across various comments whilst searching Rolling Eyes

There's two part numbers for those bolts. Up to engine number 10P09891A it's FC108175

From 10P09892A onwards it's LYG101510

If you get stuck with this, don't forget that hex socket head capscrews are generally grade 10.9 rather than the "normal" HT grade of 8.8.

Cheers for the help. Just ordered a couple from Hereford LR, not carried in stock but will be there perhaps tomorrow but definately Thursday, will be picking them up on Thursday anyway after I've rounded my boys up from school. £1.76 plus VAT each and the parts chap was only showing the later part as available from LR probably, in his view, due to a change of supplier or it may be that they are slightly upgraded but more likely as we both decided, a cheaper source Whistle
