I had my spare wheel and wheel nuts stolen. Replacement spare has been in the boot since. Selling the 110 so want to put it back to normal but they knicked the wheel nuts too for the spare.
On eBay item www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251247630544 are just normal alloy wheel nuts. Are these ok? Sorry for the noddy question but am at work no where near the 110 and want to order some ASAP. Yes - my wheel nuts are interchangeable between the spare and the road wheels.... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

Yes, they're just regular alloy wheel nuts, although there should be a locking one too. Darren

Mine are different as the normal ones won't tighten up far enough for the spare.
They look like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Defender-Alloy-S...5d3a8824d5 |

I think if you pop the chrome cap off they are different, best double check

Oh no. Confused again
![]() I have some spare non alloy wheel nuts so am thinking I will get normal (I.e lots cheaper) wheel nuts and use normal wheel nuts behind the big washed to bring the wheel away from the door so the normal nuts will work. With regards locking wheel nuts there was one on when the wheel got knicked so struggling to see the value. I am buying a big FO motorbike chain to secure the wheel to the carrier. I'm probably being thick here but are there chrome covers on all the alloy wheels nuts? I've got one on my locking nut (marked with a dimple in the middle) but the thers appeared to be solid, and the wheel brace fitted them do problem.
Interested to know, I did try the locking wheel nut cover removal tool on the normal one but couldn't pull anything off. DJ 1989 200tdi 90 csw 2011 110 usw Orkney grey Buy British 🇬🇧 Defender Clothing Designs available at http://www.rangesports.com/acatalog/Defender-Stuff.html |

They all have Chrome caps, using a brace is fine with them still on. They are not designed to be removed on the standard road wheel nut.
