2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 DCPU Java Black

transmission clunk / a frame ball joint

Hi all,

My "new" 110 has a definite clunk when taking up drive although you can get round it by letting out the clutch very gingerly and then applying the power.

I would also say that the same noise occurs when going over something like a speedbump. I had a crow bar on it earlier this evening but could not feel any wear in it.

Any other ideas?

Prop shaft UJs? just had mine replaced and now all is quiet. 1999 Defender TD5 110
