Our 130 HCPU
Hi All

Thought I better say hello, and post some pics of my 130 HCPU, still working on getting it right, and some big plans for later this year, this is my 2nd 130 used to have a 300 TDI before this one.

Being such a huge place, getting the time to drive 2000K to the start of a trip, means we only get out back a few times a year, plus this is a work/show vehicle it cost me a lot of money and it gets looked after....

This was dirty

Looks fantastic, especially those rims.

Think a roof tent makes real sense in your environment rather than the municipal camping site at Skegness but still have a hankering for one.

Is that an original canopy on the tub and how does it get on for dust ingress?

Hi supacat.

The canopy is from Exmoor trim its a Mohair one, the 130 came with the cream vinyl type as standard ( you can now have a black one as a cost option here )

We have a box inside the tub, that has storage for stuff, and a drop down fridge, overall its been very good at keep the dust out, it still gets in but to as bad as you would think. We are looking at options to change to a sealed box, ie custom job or a Quadtech for future trips.

We sell alot of roof tents here, camping, caravan, touring is huge compared to the UK. 2010 Defender 130 HCPU
