Leaky dif?
Hi
I got chatting to an ex Army mechanic yesterday who was urging me to eliminate any dif leak by mimicking an old Army trick of draining out the old oil, from both difs & then packing them with grease Rolling Eyes thereby curing any oil leaks...
Any "know legible" people on here care to comment?

Was he getting mixed up with swivel pin housings?

Thy usec to be filled with oil, regularly leaked and then the official change was made to grease.
