300 Tdi Boost Pressure
I've noticed that on the last couple of trips that occasionally the boost pressure (shown on a Madman EMS2 monitoring system) rises to well over the 1.1 bar limit. Occasionally goes to 1.4 bar, but sometimes it will very briefly hit 1.8 bar. This only starts to happen after a good few miles, when everything is up to temperature.

The EMS2 has been replaced for a separate problem. Same readings with the previous one, so I'm ruling out a fault with that. The sensor is on the inlet manifold.
All hoses & pipes appear in good condition.
There is a little oil in the air hoses, but nothing major.
I'm guessing now that either the wastegate is sticking, or the wastegate actuator is faulty.

Any other possible causes?

Cheers
Ian
