Ok so I thought a headlight bulb was blown as one side out with no dip or main beam . With headlight stripped out I immediately seen the problem as I took off the 3 pin bulb connector - it had crumbled and melted and caused a short on one of the bulb pins . The plug terminals which sit inside the plastic housing are of such poor cheep quality that they have spread open causing burning and lack of contact along with the plastic also crumbling . I cut off and replaced with a last for ever heavy duty and soldered new plug . So the bulb was ok but as I had a new set of PIAA extreme white chrome going in I stripped the other side and replaced the remaining plug as it would only be a matter of time before it melted also . This would be a warranty job but they would only put another poor quality job in place . 2012 2.2 110 XS CSW

As described above , the plug pins had enlarged and caused arcing , this had melted the plug casing slightly and the result is no headlight or main beam . Sorry no pics but will be reporting to the dealer tomorrow when it goes in for 2 track rod ends , swivel housing seals and possibly a steering box . All due to poor and cheep quality parts .
