Noisy Engine
Hi All... Just a quick one for the tech peeps out there....

Took my 13my 110 Utility wagon to my dealers recently as I had a small kangaroo'ing issue... It's now back and seems far noisier than when it went it... Even swmbo noticed it... This is what the dealer did.

The technicians found some software issues with the Defender. It was running the latest level of software but there were a few files that had not been finalised properly by our SDD (Self Driven Diagnostic) equipment during the vehicles pre delivery inspection. We have re-run the engine control software and the boys have tested it at low speed in 1st gear and are now happy with it.

Should I take it back to them or try someone else?

Cheers

Tim It doesn't matter how bad it is, It can always get worse...

I would check the lid on the air filter box to make sure it is closed correctly. They might have taken it off to check the air filter. Unless it is refitted correctly the vehicle will sound very loud.It is a slim hope but check it anyway. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
