The 110 are dated 04,, !!

The ones on the 90 are 0610

4 digit number as per Warpig picture,, saying that, on the 90, 2 have the date, and 2 do not California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1

The date could be on the other side of the tyre, depending on if you have hid the white lettering to the inside?

Could be. I think its only stamped on one side. Did you purchase the tyres brand new yourself? Because some tyres made before 2002 might not show the date stamp.

Heres a random picture from google showing what the date stamp should look like, in this case the tyre was manufactured in the 9th week of 2007...

Just done a bit of reading up for you, I assume BFG are an American company? If so then this might be useful to you..

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=11

which states that tyres made after 2002...

While the entire Tire Identification Number is required to be branded onto one sidewall of every tire, current regulations also require that DOT and the first digits of the Tire Identification Number must also be branded onto the opposite sidewall. Therefore, it is possible to see a Tire Identification Number that appears incomplete and requires looking at the tire’s other sidewall to find the entire Tire Identification Number

The use of a partial Tire Identification Number on the one sidewall reduces the risk of injury to the mold technician that would have to install the weekly date code on the top sidewall portion of a hot tire mold.

and shows another way of displaying the date stamp (51st week of 2007)...

** Tyres made prior to 2002 may not show the date stamp.**

Actually made in February 2010 (5th week of year) but at least they are new enough to discount tyre age being the cause Thumbs Up

yeah, they are prone to do this. Puma owners seem to be the most affected, probably due to the TC.

Puma owners in the Western Cape are most prone to encounter this due to the gravel roads and type of 4x4 trails common in the area.

On our last club outing, the tyres on my landy looked like they'd been attacked by a pack of starving rats. Sad --

this is what mine are starting to look like. these pics were taken before that trail where they got chewed up.

Similar to you guys, 99% of my driving is on tar.
