Picked up my new toy today!
So finally picked up the new toy today, a little bit of work required but for a 62yr old motor she is in fantastic shape!

I'd pulled the engine and gear box out already as it needs a little bit of work before it is started up again!

Can't wait to get it back on the road after nearly 40 years!

Very Happy

Sorry, I was also looking at the Disco more than the little car (not sure what it is!).

Disco looks like an HSE, not a 13my so I'm guessing a '59 or '10 plate...

Nara is a great colour (I'm slightly biased though!) Whistle

I had no idea what it was until the last year, before that I knew it as the music car....details to follow!

It is a 1952 Singer 4AB, number 21 of 1001 (or 1000 depending on who you ask) built. It was rebuild by my grandfather about 50 years ago and was their only car for quite some time, my only memories of the car are from when I was about 3 where is was pulled out for a family wedding (all taxed and insured yes officer...), everyone called it the Singer and I was only little so it became the music car!

So fast forward 20 years and here we are, ready for some love and attention and hopefully some summer fun!

Block is currently being cold stitched by this company http://www.castingrepairs.com/

The rest of the car is in fantastic condition so will do a major service, check all suspension and brakes, bit of tidying up and then off to a MOT centre, just for peace of mind!
