springs
hi folks, i've just bought a two month old used 2" lift kit for my 90. there are two different sizes of springs. from memory i think they are 1 pair taller (and thinner) and 1 pair shorter (and fatter)

who can tell me which are fronts and which are rears?

Normally a spring is stiffer if it is thicker wire. Stiffer gives the appearance of more height as it is harder to compress. A less stiff spring will need to be longer to give the extra height but will also allow more deflection. If it were me i would have the softer longer springs on the back as there is both less continuous weight applied and the axle has a greater degree of movement . The front is not designed to move as much and also has the higher continuous load from the engine.

That is what i would do others may de along with reasons to the contrary. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Oh i forgot to ask when you say fatter do you mean the overall diameter of The coil is bigger cos if it is they will not fit as they are for the back of a 110 . Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

overall diameter is the same, the shorter springs are thicker wire
