what switch did you go for was it a cheap britpart one Big Cry Best one to go for is the Lucas one which is a allmakes or britpart OEM spec, or buy genuine Thumbs Up CSK Automotive

Britpart gets a lot of stick but purely as most of there branded parts are Censored shocking Big Cry Get the Lucas one mate its half the price of a genuine one but the same quality Thumbs Up Can be brought from a Britpart supplier, MPS trading has my Thumbs Up great service and im sure if you contact them they can sort you out a good price Mr. Green CSK Automotive

A long shot, but if it is a Puma the Earth strap is screwed on a chassis outrigger beneath the drivers feet. You can see it if you look behind the front wheel. Check that it is still fixed FIRMLY to the outrigger. Also check that the battery terminals are securely in place. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

When you say the stereo 'Cut out', do you mean no power or no sound?

When mine was a month old I lost all sound from the stereo when I turned the lights on. It turned out that the numberplate light had shorted a few wires which caused shorts in the loom. Came up with loads of weird things with the stereo and lights..... but not wiper problems so might not be the same.

interesting.another thing to check.
re
the radio it completely shuts down,no illumination, dead!!

the only way ican stop the wipers shuddering across the screen is to pull over and switch off the engine and then go again.
oh,and just to make it more of a pain it's an intermittent fault. Big Cry Question Banging Head

thanks for asking.

I also have a to do list (they're jobs I can do and therefore no one but me to blame if they ain't done right).

I'm pretty much all sorted me thinks. I'm looking at getting a new MAP sensor as I've given the current a jolly good clean and mr truck appears to be working faultlessly now (most of the time).

I have to say I am wondering if there's an element of me having intermittent hearing. Laughing

before injector learn (thanks again porny for that) there was serious injector noise but following that and the MAP sensor clean most of the time mr truck runs sweet ie circa 40 mph top gear incline and couldn't hear anything - was so staggered I had to turn the stereo off and open the window......all I could hear was the buzz / induction noise Thumbs Up

I've cleaned the map sensor a couple of times and I'm very much of the opinion that this is the weak link but having been told they're £100+ plus to buy I'm trying to see how / if I can get a replacement through warranty.?

wishing you hadn't asked Very Happy

when you get time would like to know how you get on sorting you probelm(s).
Thumbs Up good luck.
