Yes we've had a lot of fun out of it over the years but the kids have grown up now and it's time to move on.
Part of the attraction was that it could be easily trailed and of course the Defender is an ideal towcar. Etaps had a USP in that they were double skinned and filled with foam hence unsinkable. Sadly this only applied to the boats, not the firm that made them, which went bust a few years ago.
