ScanGauge 2
Hi,
I've been considering installing a Scan Gauge2 into my Puma..

1, are they complex?...or straightforward to use?
2, are they useful...day to day use?

Very simple and incredibly useful Thumbs Up

Edit - anything specific you want to know? I use mine mostly for watching real time fuel consumption (helps me drive "sensibly"), battery voltage, intake temperature etc. I use it for clearing the error codes/light when I'm experimenting with e.g. the EGR valve. Also lets you know how far you can drive until empty (useful on long trips).

Plugs into the OBD interface - I cut a small neat hole in my fuse box cover (as it sticks out a little) and have it sitting on the steering column cowl just in front of the instruments (Velcro). Some members have unscrewed the interface from the bracket so it pushes back a little. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

Aahhh - but would the E-bay tool have a decent sub output?

Speaking of o4dn (as he is now known), we both realised how important it is to re-calibrate the fillup volume a few times before relying on it. Scangauge "learns" how to deal with inaccuracies. It's really important to re-calibrate after a remap. Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
