@ Go Beyond, cheers for the offer but I have now got one, thanks anyway. Thumbs Up

@ Glyn, yes it is for a project. Very Happy Going to fabricate a mount that uses the same mountings as the bumper to fit a LED lightbar. Don't want to drill the Entreq bumper so will cut up the bottom of a front grill to get the lightbar sitting in tight under the aircon radiator and level with the front of the grill. I want it to look as if it was meant to be fitted there. Now I just need to decide on what lightbar to purchase and what size to fit? Thumbs Up

Similar place to one I saw not too long ago (but can't remember where- prob Overland Journal). It was a White Defender with a light bar on the roof and then a smaller one mounted to the top of the bumper in the same place you are thinking- looked very smart.

Would setting it back into the grill reduce the area it lights up quite a bit as it will be behind the bumper?

I wouldn't think so as it will be mounted just above the bumper, also the grill sits quite far forward almost to the edge of the Entreq bumper. Thumbs Up

Rolling Eyes I have spent too long without a normal type of bumper Rolling with laughter Mine sticks WAY out.

Should look smart when finished. I cut mine out to fit the winch- just drill the rivets out and the rest is just fibreglass (just used a Jr hacksaw). I was quite amazed at how easy it was to get a good finish Very Happy

Thumbs Up I have one of them dremel type tools to do the fine cutting with, but if that fails then its a reciprocating saw or a cut off saw, and if they all fail a 3lb club hammer if it doesn't go exactly the way I want and I lose my rag, hence the reason for wanting a spare grill. Whistle

sorry for the slow reply, I have been mountain biking all day!

Yes it looks like it will fit.

I will measure the exact sizing of the 40" inc depth and height.

but rough sizing is 3" by 3" and 20'/40" long, I will get back with the exact specs in the morning Smile 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)

Is there any lightbar available to fit the dimensions of the flat "Defender" plinth that sits at the top of the radiator grill?

I think that would make a good spot for additional lighting.

Supacat

I can get hold of some single row LED light bars that should be thin enough to go on the defender plinth.

Let me get some sizings for you and see what fits, if neccessary I can get some brackets made up and trial fit em to my 110 and see what you think. 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold)
