THs was due to about a 100km of very corrugated track in and around the Bungle Bungles in Western Australia yesterday. Hopefully Monday I can get someone to weld it up better then new for me. 110 2.4TDCi

Got it welded back together today so will see how it goes getting home over 630km of dirt track. I think I'll then look at some additional bracing on it. 110 2.4TDCi

Sorry but you need to reinforce the "T" junction from welded pipes with formed plates.

It's quite normal this break with this design...........

p.s. I make oil and Gas plants, so I understand in structures............. Thumbs Up

Thanks but that's what is on the cards.

I hadn't done this because I've already got a lot of mileage on very rough tracks out of a Bearmach carrier on my other Defender and thought this would also make the distance. 110 2.4TDCi
