If it anything to go by the mustang boys have a lot of problems with 2nd to 3rd you shouldn't have any problems really as the synchro in these gear boxes is extremely good

It could be to do with looseness of the gearstick in the yolk selector

Thanks for the comments, the problem only occurs on the first change from 2nd to 3rd each morning it is then fine for the rest of the day so im guessing that it isnt down to anything being loose?

No not yet as the car is only a few months old, I have considered an oil change as my first thoughts were that the oil wasnt circulating properly?
