Not sure how I missed this thread...

So if hypothetically someone was looking to get a 110XS you should be looking for 13-18% off the list price of £28,910.00 then? Whistle

Tata employees/pensioners get a 20% discount on list price on any LR and Jaguar.

The problem with the staff discount, is if it works like other manufacturers the dealer gets the car at a reduced rate from LR/Jag with a fixed margin... so me walking in and asking for 20% off will only be successful in causing amusement I expect!

Unless anyone else has managed such a tall discount as a cash punter? Shocked

TallPaul - not being staff you should be able to get 12% including the NFU discount of 5%

The Perry's groups seems to discount more aggresively than others

Yes, not quite sure my garden will count as agricultural land though... so probably forget the NFU and just haggle harder.

Anyone know when end of quarter is for Land Rover?

Willie

LRJ staff currently get different rates for LR's and Jags and a small difference on other models - its more than 20% and on any accessory bought at manufacture.

The employee discount is better on parts - but it can be hit and miss i find... Mike

Hi MSE,

The 20% LR discount I could get was via Corus (ex British Steel) which is now owned by Tata. The discount applied to both current employees and pensioners.

I get it as a direct family employee from 3 family sources, 1 of which is through the pensioner scheme, its more than 20% and 25% istr on Jags Mike

I'm really shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked

Some days ago I discovered that the price of a brand new Puma 110 SW in Chile was rised from GBP 26.100 to GBP 31.800 (21%).

I bought mine at the end of 2007 at GBP 19.300, that means a price increment in less than 2 years of 64% Shocked Shocked

Better than any investment, but I don't like to sell it.

Any other country with this price increment? Eduardo

I don't think the price changed much here, its probably the exchange rate?

I tought that also, but

The exchange rate in 2007 was 1000 CLP/GBP and now is 890 CLP/GDP, so taking in account the exchange rate the difference are increased. So, it is a real increment in the price here.

Cheers Eduardo

In the Netherlands the Defenders price range is 37000 euro to 42200 euro. So just a little more expensive again. Roel
