Chipperfield Land Rover
Brought my X-Tech from them in November. Single handedly the nicest vehicle purchase of my driving career. Welcomed with a cup of coffee every time (it's the little things that count), put up with all my questions regardless of how mundane or trivial. Nothing pushy and most of all, I walked out with exactly what I went in for with everything to suit my time scales and requests. So thank you, every day I drive it with a smile on my face and thats all thanks to Chipperfield. ===================================

I live local to them and nip in for spare parts occasionally. One of the guys working at the parts desk has rebuilt his own 300tdi Defender so knows his stuff.

Wouldn't use either of the local Stratstones (Slough or Aylesbury) again - shocking customer service.

Best service was from Lakeland, similar experience to yours - nothing too much trouble.

Problem is they are too far away. Barney

Startstone Aylesbury lost out on my purchase due to a severe lack of customer service when I was testing the water earlier last year.

You up in Naphill Barney? Are you on the sort of S bend after the shop and before you go down the hill? There is a nice HT living around there Razz ===================================

The Defender is mine, but the wife drives it normally. I drive her Discovery.

no I don't sadly although the company I was working for might somewhere. We built a few , Hartwells Northampton, Oxford, Cumnoor and Stone. Also built the 4x4 track inside Donnington Race track. All a few years ago mind.
