Spotlight question sorry

Hi, does anyone run there spotlights illegally from there dipped switch ie on dipped beam? 90 Puma HT

Why would they?

I run my Lightforces from main beam but with an OEM dash switch to isolate them if required. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Likewise Mal except for the switch I just have then main beam triggered. (Remember my issues when I had it draining the battery

What about common courtesy and consideration for other road users?....It would also be an MOT failure....Buy some headlight upgrades they won't be 'dull as fook' if you buy the right ones. and keep you on the right side of legality.

So that's what high beam then is for, no?

Maybe need to upgrade your standard lights

Well every other new lights blind the bajesus out of me so I thought I'd join the club and beat them at there own game

You can do that by just turning your high beam on,.... but you shouldn't really

cibie used to make h4 hi/low spots but i've not seen them for a few years, but they were legal

What about a set of Driving lamps up on the roof that way they can come one with the dipped beam

Or a set of these bad boys, driving lamp, spotlight style or D.R.L

I think new headlights will be the way but there's too many different options, I'm not guna go mad and get led jobbys it'll be bellow £100?? 90 Puma HT

Jammer - Wipac Crystals with SS bezels & upgraded H4 Bulbs i.e. Philips extreme +90% fully legal looks better and better output! All in cost me £80 about a year ago. I think a tad lower now perhaps. The output will be nice and white too not yellowy.

I've already got those Phillips jobbys in, not 100% on which I need, if I turn on my sidelights my seperete sidelights come on plus my headlights but really dull? Not sure if I need ones with or without sidelights? I havnt got the levelling thingermabobbies!! 90 Puma HT

You have dim dip,it is best diconnected
PIAA bulbs are probably the best but expensive
