hi guys, my dashboard and interior plastics are all deeply faded, ive tried some various polishes, but today in halford noticed some product called vinyl dye. Seems they are spray on and get into the pigment of the plastic rather than sitting on the surface, looks like it possible to even bleach black and then change it to a lighter colour. Can also be combined with fillers for fixing gouges and damaged areas.
Has anyone tried it? Some references http://www.vinyldye.co.uk/ (annoying american but good demo) |

I've used Vinylkote40 on classic interiors in the past with good results.

Satin black aerosol on a cloth mate, spray the paint on a cloth and work it in the plastic, comes up wonderfull i done it on my first 90 which had a scuffed door card  CSK Automotive

hi guys, done a bit more research, looks like they new puma dash is all made of ABS plastics, so the vinyl dyes wont work unless some adhesion/primer is used... so how easy is it to remove all these panels :-/ |
