The Defender got it's tank filled and I got a copy of 'The impossible takes a little longer' by Eric Edis, The story of an overland trip by Landy to Australia and back in 1957.

Rubber mat for loadspace - but unfortunately it's meant for a Freelander and so is a poor fit!

Snow cowl - nearly needed it at the Tan Hill Inn today...heavy snow flurry when we called in for a drink...

Satnav - Garmin hi res 5" screen - used for 1st time today and seems to do the job very efficiently.

I treated mine to a snow cover for the heater intake, shipped quickly by Brendan Thumbs Up and fitted a few days before Christmas.

I got a good wash on the 23rd so it looked posh for running about over Christmas then got treated to a day out on the plains yesterday so it needs another wash now ... Thumbs Up John

We have no plains here to go and play, but we have lots of.... "highs" Thumbs Up Laughing
So the Defender got a nice trip to Gstaad today to drop someone off, then when back it got a nice shampoo, all shiny now again Whistle You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
