My girlfriend had the type with a box section of steel which ran underneath the bumper as it allowed towbar to be adjusted to different heights unlike the fixed swan neck type |

It's a long long time since I fitted one, from memory fairly straight forward forward with the rear bumper off.
I think I have a new one in the box still - I sold my p38 at least 5 years ago so I'll need to do some digging if he hasn't got one yet? |
