Excellent - top wing support brackets...no obvious threads about them:

So a few questions:

1. Anyone fitted them?
2. Do they do the job?
3. Any photos of them fitted?
4. Does anyone else do an alternative support?

Yes I have them fitted Thumbs Up

Not fitted to my 90 but wish I had as the wingtops on this both bent due to getting on them to put tent away. Sad

I have them fitted to my 130 a good idea but like all Entreq products way over priced.

Well if this is a common failing, and given the amount of chequerplate I've seen, it's surprising that more people are not shouting for aftermarket solutions, especially given the price point of the Entreq ones.

I find the wing top chequerplate the most useful of all. Cups of tea, coffee, tools etc. and of course leaning on. Without it the wings would undoubtedly get dented/marked quite quickly.

Here's a picture of my mates when his overweight Mrs lent on his wing to see what he was doing under the bonnet...bet he wished he'd fitted chequerplate. Laughing

. Never mind wing top protection ! If ever there was a reason to fit a front external roll cage then this is it . What about head protection ?

I bought some black 3mm wingtops a couple of months ago.. The fit was abysmal, with massive gaps at the leading edge and they went straight back to the supplier... I waited nearly a month for them to be delivered, and then when they were returned, there wasn't an apology or hint that they would be replaced with the correctly fitting items... Their other bits I have bought from the same people are great... ... ,-------,
