Ok . Just to clear up the previous questions on the 2.2 exhaust and to repeat what I mentioned before .
Take off the large mid box And little end silencer box. There is NO sound difference , YES there is a little performance differance HOWEVER .. When the DPF does a regen and burn ( every 400 miles for me ) the exhaust then effectively becomes straight through with no restrictions . You will THEN get that lovely engine burble noise your looking for . As Pete mentioned - DO NOT bother with taking off the DPF as its Major surgery for no gain . 3 yrs mines been off . |

Slightly
![]() ![]() Touching on the 2.4 decat removal/exhaust enhancement IMHO and experience 'decatting' is the cheapest noticeable performance enhancement you can make. It allows the turbo to spool up a damn sight quicker and the engine to breathe a hell of a lot easier instead of being strangulated. Just as an addition I binned the rear-box and changed the centre-box for a straight through smaller silencer. It was an entire system swap out. ![]() Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |
