Hi all,
My name is Tom, I am currently in my final year studying Automotive Design at Coventry University and I conducting research into emotional attachment into cars to implement into a design for my final project. Here are two the surveys (they only take a minute): (For people who own cars) http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/ZNP7G58 (For people who don't - product focused) http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/HCL9PWW Just answer as many questions as you can/want to. And if you really want, do both surveys! All the data collected will be anonymous. Im sure I will get some very rich data from you guys and am looking forward to seeing some finished surveys. If there is anything you want to ask me about the survey or my project please do not hesitate, I am very keen to talk about why you love your cars! Many thanks, Tom (broadbet@uni.coventry.ac.uk) Last edited by tomcovuni on 17th Nov 2012 4:06pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Done, but remember that your results are going to be skewed if you predominantly sample from motoring forums, particularly those linked to brands with a strong emotional following. Given the last couple of questions, I'd go as far as to suggest you have picked an audience that is likely to give you the answers you need to validate your position/ideas.
Not necessarily a bad thing per se but be prepared for some questioning on your sampling methods. 54 Freelander modded for mud 2008 D3 SE 2010 90 XS SW 1978 88 Series 3 undergoing surgery with a new owner 2007 90 County Truck Cab - gone 2006 D3 SE - gone 2004 Freelander Sport - gay 1999 Disco V8 ES rotted to bits |

hi tom,
i have tried to fill in survey 2 and question 3 asks me for my favourite product. Unfortunately the "other" heading doesn,t have a tick box and therefore defaults to survey incomplete, so i got peeved and ticked the furniture box |

Cheers guys,
Thanks for spotting those things, amendments have been made!! I am waiting on permission from other forums to post there too so hopefully this will balance up the results when I compare surveys. All the responses have been really great, thanks to everyone who has done it so far! Any other comments/criticisms are welcome, the less tutors can pick at the better |
