Not a single one as far as i'm aware. The Td5 > Puma was a big change and will probably satisfy LR for a few years.

According to the specialized magazines a new Defender model will appear in 2013 - 2014 or maybe later depending on how the crisis is going on. Cheers Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" ![]() Click image to enlarge |

Acko,
Yes there are 'up-dated' Defender model only for worldwide sales - not UK! They are marketing them as 'Fire & Ice' - referring to the paint job e.g. 'scorching metallic vesuvius orange and metallic santorini black and Ice Alaska white'. The internal panels are also colour coordinated. Price £37,000 (my, how prices have changes, Land Rover must be doing very well irrespective of the recession!) See LRM August 2009 page 10 jlerra 'El Pepe Flamenco' On another matter - Any views out there re: Billing v's Newark? JLS 'El Pepe Flamenco' |

They are supposed to be fitting a warning light on the dash which lights up when you have an oil leak. This will work for the gearbox and diffs etc.The holdup is that they can't get bulbs strong enough to withstand the constant illumination! 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

![]() Clever technicians at Landrover. They've overcome the problem. Fit an ordinary bulb and have it lit up when all is o.k. and switch OFF when there is a leak. No possibility of it being on too long then !! Landyman 1 |

This is just a 'paint/trim' option not an up grade. |

Trip's going well, got a new clutch fitted after 22,000km as it had developed the dreaded rattle.
You're probably right, the stupid ADR (Australian Design Rules) probably dictate the different mirror. If it was the same height as the old model I'd swap them over in a flash. 110 2.4TDCi 110 300Tdi ![]() LROCV ::: AULRO.com |
