H4 Bulbs-Question
I have finished installing my Crystal Headlights and the Relay wiring loom for the headlights dip/mainbeam. A significant improvement over the standard headlamps. But despite reading various other threads I still have a couple of questions.

It would seem that there is no set wattage for the headlamp bulbs as long as they are road legal i.e.: E marked? Bow down

Are there higher wattage, E marked H4 main/dipped bulbs, available and where can you get them? Bow down LANDYWATCH

No higher E marked wattage ones that I've seen. These may be worth a punt perhaps..... Thumbs Up

Mal (K9F), That's exactly the one's I have although I got mine for 19.99 on E-bay so maybe worth shopping around.
I've been pleased as punch with them and combined with Crystals also has been very good. A nice white output. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

I fitted a pair of Osram nightbreaker plus bulbs at the weekend and they are brilliant, so much better. I was going to buy the Phillips but the osram are only 11 on amazon at the moment http://www.amazon.co.uk/Osram-O472NBP-Nigh...amp;sr=8-2

Thank you for all your helpful suggestions. I think I might save up for the PIAA extreme bulbs. 47 for a pair from the USA inc postage, on eBay. Thumbs Up LANDYWATCH

You also have upgraded E marked H4 bulbs directly from Land Rover Accessories now. Very good white light and not expensive at all. I had those before installing the Speakers which obviously is a different story again and without competition.... You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
