What's it like in the 'rough stuff'? A bit top heavy I'd imagine? As drivable as the 110 was? |

The original plan was to strip out the interior & convert to camper, fit newer doors, convert all electrics to 12v, but now, I kind of like it 'as is'. We did fit cloth puma seats for a bit of comfort. Last edited by hoarder on 29th Oct 2012 6:06pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Yes, a bit top heavy off road. On the second run out we did have to use her to pull a Shogun out of a bog (smug grin) On road it's nice to drive, it's no ball of fire, but handles ok - the biggest problem I have is remembering that the body is much wider & higher than a standard defender, parking in town isn't brill. |

It's because the standard set-up wasn't legal with the wide body. Solved by fitting side lights in the headlights and moving them outboard, which then results in the indicators being relocated too. Darren
