England 2013 Defender 130 Puma 2.2 HCPU Orkney Grey
LandroverAnorak - i like but then i think i prefer the original look.

SGH - yerp finally here! thats an idea, i will have to seek your advice and wisdom (like usual) to create a shopping list. are you still tied up till the end of November?

Killer - cheers mate, im loving the colour too. really, i thought they wouldn't be much more than £250/300.... would love some saw tooth rims on some 265's but not sure how i would justify the money to the misses..... especially as it wont help her even get into the truck. im not sure if i could pie them off as her xmas present from me Whistle

Andrew - cheers mate, lara would have been there if you hadn't of sold so soon.

RFT - cheers pal, had a look, def some to consider. i have the same with my short misses and 2 labbydoors.

i have done 1400 miles now. no faults or break downs so far!!!!
mpg seems similar to my 2.4.
when i got to 1300 miles there was a noticable increase in performance as the engine started to wear in. (under a 1000 miles i didnt take it over 2000rpm.
it hasn't taken long for him to become a works vehicle

First mod didn't take long either....

got delivered today!

like some of you may know i have been moaning a bit, been waiting since may for a factory order!
got to be honest, mod's wont flow like some topics on here but i will update when they come along.

i brought him from Paul at direct vehicle sales in Ripon. Never had to go their, all sorted via phone and delivered to mine. Worked out about 8% cheaper than what hardwards were offering.

so far compared to my old 2.4 110 hcpu its quieter and more refined. seems very similar on pulling away etc, but have not pulled the digger around yet so haven't made it work.

any suggestions please.
i am looking at some 110 side steps, double din next week hopefully, some clear lights maybe nas LED ones, i would love to change the wheels but can't justify getting rid of these new one's and i am guessing they are not worth much.....

It would be a lot easier financially if you could sell what you have already to more or less fund some alloys that said it's not an option you can take unless you have no wheels on at all for a short period of time. So kind of pointless. Either way if / when you did you would re-coup some cash on it. There maybe someone out there that maybe up for a swap. Thumbs Up ____\We|Will|Win/___

I'd have gone for a dark colour; green, blue or black. Silver is fine but its more...an saloon colour to me Embarassed

Thud - thanks mate.

Big wheels - thats a fair point, i hate the saloon colours that all audi's, bmw's, mercs seem to come in these days. but i would say orkney grey looks more like this, not that first picture you quoted.

Custom steve - i am hoping and wiating for the right deal to come along. the steels would need to be sold after though because this is my works vehicle.

You need to choose alloys carefully as not all are rated for a 130. Darren
