Defender happy kit
Defender happy kit - none of which will be visually apparent when fitted Big Cry

But at least I know whats in my Landy

Just need a nice dry day now Smile

What you going to use the three pin plug, chopping board and Union Jack tray on? The tray I can understand if snow's forecast!

How many miles you got on your truck if you don't mind me asking and is it a Puma? Just curious? Thumbs Up

I drop the engine oil every 6K! Personal choice. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

3 pin plug for heating water for my cuppa tea on my patriotic tea tray Very Happy

Its an 08 Puma and only done 18,000 miles but I am doing all the oils.

You would have seen it on the other thread but get one of these:

It makes future oil changes so much quicker and so much easier with no mess. I don't do dirt very well and neither does the Missus especially when you get oil on the block paving! Embarassed If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

In the 80s I had a quick-change oil plug on a souped up Talbot Horizon. Stuck out below the sump about an inch and a half.

A couple of days later, I was showing off to my brother in law and flew over a humpback bridge. Luckily there was no-one behind me when I landed or the black smoke would have killed them Shocked

I had to hammer a bit of tree branch into the hole so I could drive very slowly home Embarassed Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...

why so much oil ?

iv only put 2 ltrs of oil in my new gearbox as if you put what LR say it spurts it out the breather
that cost £40 for those 2ltrs Crying or Very sad

Its a great feeling to know that all the lubes are the correct type used in the correct quantity. I changed all mine as soon as I got back from the dealer !

Every 6k and good quality oils gives peace of mind.

Not wanting to go Off Topic or hijack the thread - I have just done a fluids change on my Td5, with temps dropping up here already I have noticed the sticky 2nd gear and going to put difflock evo oil in the gearbox again. Anyone else know of a cheaper but equivalent solution?
