Cheers guys, It really is a 'kin minefield. I do appreciate nice things and that with all hobbies like knife collecting, the price has no limit, though for this, I'm keeping it strictly to a budget.
To be fair, I'd buy the Zombie apocalypse Gerber kit, if it were uk available.

You could make up your own Gerber zombie kit, all available in the uk
Gator machete £25
Gator machete pro £53
Camp axe II £50
Parang has been recalled, replace with brush hook £23
LMF II Infantry £100
DMF Folder £35
Epic (hard to find in stock now) £30

Would need to find a suitable pouch to hold it all though.

2006 Defender 110 Td5 XS CSW Zambezi Silver

We bought a load of 6" Sheaf knives from Clas Olsen for the Scouts bushcraft, extremely nice carbon steel edges that hold a beautiful edge.

That said with UK law so keen on stamping down on the legally minded folk you have to be careful where you store them and why you have them in your possetion !!

I keep mine in the toolbox in the back of the 110.

Very good point.

I think one of the main things on that is 'Accessibility'. If you have major road rage you are less likely to get out of the car go to the boot, open your tool box and then stab someone rather than it being in the cubby box ready to go......if that makes sense.

Well, I decide to go for a Sog Zilla, just to see how much I'd use it and to try Heinnies service. Happy with both so far.

I may start my Zombie apocalypse collection real soon. Just in case
