hi all
not wanting to spoil the pary, but they are basicly a sonim spx3, you can buy them sim free for around £200 and used from ebay etc for around £150.

great phone, thinking of getting one, keep dropping mine, and breaking it. Cheers

Understand the Land Rover version is IP 67 rated as oppose only IP 56 on the standard phone, basically meaning the LR phone is totally waterproof rather than splash proof. Richard

Either a 90, 110 or 130.

The LR phone has a camera. The Sonim XP3 doesn't. I think that's the principal difference.

I'm afraid I'm an iPhone man but otherwise would be tempted with something this tough - particularly like the operating temperature range as I can't ever sensibly attach my phone when skiing. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS

LR should have launched them 5 years ago. They are way out of date, looks allot like nokia's 5100. Im also an Iphone man, it would take a cell phone company to get into bed with the likes of nasa to even slightly raise my attention. Now that ive downloaded OS 0.3 on the Iphone it is even more amazing!!! Land Rover's don't leak oil, they simply mark their territory!

Thanks kljw, but its still for existing orange customers just without the sim who want the phone. I wish they offered it on any network.

I might just buy the phone and get the network lock turned off which will void the warranty because I'm plan to use it abroad. Whistle '08 LR Defender 110
