Rear Brake Problem - MOT Failure
My Defender failed it's MOT today. Rear brake forces were only 70 and 80kg vs 363 and 365kg on the front.

It's a 2000 TD5 90, no ABS.

Had new disks and pads only 12000 miles ago so I'm guessing it's something else. Servo seems to be working so I guess the vacuum pump is doing its job.

As it's both sides it must be something common to the both. Bias valve maybe?

Before I start ripping the thing apart what should I look for? Anyone had a similar problem?

Oil on the disc? I recently had a hub seal leaking leading to a rather alarming pull to the left under braking.

Bleed the lines as well, if nothing else it's a good reason to get up close and personal with the system.
