Hi all.
This might be a stupid question but does anyone know how the b posts on my defender 130 (the pillars that the rear door hinges are mounted on) are connected to the sills? Are they bolted or welded? I want to get these posts galvanised but I cant see how to remove them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Steve |

on a 110 they are spot welded to the sill panel...the bit the floor plate bolts to.
the whole lot comes out as one on a 110. |

That would explain why I couldn't see where it was connected. Does anyone know If it's the same on a 130?

loom underneath! its a upsidedown T. its bolted to the bulkhead out rigger and to the roof, the seatbox, rear support and rivetted through the side panel.
