Sounds dodgy. Are you sure you didn't do anything to it? Question --

I can quite beleive it!

I've had two 2.4 TdCi's and both of them, at some point between 3500 and 5000 miles transformed.

It was normal one day, and the next day it was a rocket!

I'm hoping that my 2.2 (which I collect on Saturday for the new 62 plate) will do the same, but sooner! Very Happy

We've also heard the same from a number of our customers!

Regards

John. Currently....... all gone...... pending delivery of a mid life crisis.......
Previously..... Quite a few! I really am a sucker for them!

Mine seems to have got a lot nice to drive lately and quicker off the mark. In my case it's because it wasn't used to often by previous owner and worn in now. Also doesn't hurt to use more revs. I swore over time a little bit of higher revs beds everything in well and smooths things out. And a better power delivery when needed. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

How high do you call high? My one hasn't altered at all but I rarely take it over 3000rpm.

Well when I say high I don't really know quite what revs exactly but what I do mean is is keep the revs up a bit higher and I have found mine to be a lot nicer to drive. Before I used to change up far earlier than I do now and by that time the revs drop off very quick especially up hill. All I'm saying is don't be afraid to give it a bit more revs (within reason) With this style I found in time the engine seems more perky and less sluggish to get going. Diesel$ Live$ Matter. ⛽️🛢️👨‍🔧🧰⚙️ RED, WHITE & BOOST! 🇬🇧

I'm a boy racer at heart and I rarely do "economy" mode. I normally take it to max revs in 1st and 2nd before changing up and frequently skip 3rd and 5th. My 2010 90xs is like a pocket rocket . Have done this with all my vehicles using max revs in the lowest gears. Never had an engine problem. I do believe modern engines are built to be used. So many people diddle along in top at low speeds to "economise" but I think that does a lot more damage. Just my own thoughts. Bow down Bow down LANDYWATCH

drive it like a transit...after all they do have the same engine.

i've taken to driving the 110 alot more and i think it learns your style. I also been putting in decent fuel which has made a difference
