Dashcam Placement
Hi. I’m looking to hardwire a dashcam in and wondered where people have put there ones. I don’t want to take the headlining off and so am looking at mounting it on the dash or bottom of the windscreen.

Mine's at the top of the windscreen, since I found that lower down it really only got a good view of the bonnet.

It is possible to wire to the top of the windscreen by running the wires up the A-pillar behind the black plastic trim (2 screws) and then carefully tuck it into the headliner along the top edge of the windscreen. It is easier if you remove the sun visor on whichever side you coming from (2 screws) but not essential. There is no need to remove the headliner.
