Where do the speakers mount?
I removed the roof mounted speakers from my 90 last October, along with the headlining. Now that I have bought a new pair (same design as the old ones), I am having trouble with how they are mounted.

There are four screws on the speaker, and a bracket on the roof that has only one hole. Now, I'm no genius, but I cant for the life of me find a way of getting four screws to go into the one hole. Anybody know how they mount?

Cheers

Roof mounted speakers? In a Defender?

Never knew Landrover did such a thing Question I'd guess its an aftermarket/self fitment jobbie ... in which case you'll be on your own, all down to trial and error Wink Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

You said you removed the speakers AND headliner. Are you sure the bracket you mentioned is not for the headliner attachment and the speakers were just screwed into the headliner. In my Puma 90 the rear speakers are fitted in the rear each side of the rear door, below the rear side windows. Yours look like a DIY fitting. Thumbs Up LANDYWATCH
