Does anyone know what the blanking plug is for, the one that is on the right bottom of the HU? Doesn't seem to want to come out.

There is a variant of the HU that has USB connectivity, alas it isn't that common!.. The plug is just a blanking cover for the hole in the common faceplate.. ... ,-------,
