saw tooths aint that bad to clean as they are mainly flat but a load of spokes Thumbs Up personally i would go for zu rims on a bfg mud as i love that look, but even on a stt they would look nice CSK Automotive

STT's are good on the road as well.

Tested in a monsoon this morning and no problems at all Thumbs Up

Been clear and dry since lunchtime, don't tell Brendan Thumbs Up

Pictures of STT's in my TD5 gallery (on steels). Must admit I am glad that I did not go the KM2 route, the STT's are better than my BFG AT's on the 110 doing road work.

I suppose it all comes down to personal choice in the end - and cost !

Was running Coopers but thought i'd have a play with the mickey Ts the coopers are great but the mickey Ts are even better really smooth ride out of them compared to the coopers..... but with the aggressive look...... mickey Ts for me....don't know how long they will last tho ? NEVER TAKE LIFE SERIOUSLY. NOBODY GETS OUT ALIVE ANYWAY

On things like wheels and tyres you will NEVER get agreement on what looks best/best colour/best tyre size/tyre.

A few pointers. Ensure wheel is approved, some new wheels are coming into UK market which have not got approval etc (TUV) Check load rating off the wheel. Ensure that they are good for a laden 110

Turning circle, apart from adjusting wheel stops, assuming same wheel offset/tyre diameter the width of the tyre is important. i.e.wider the tyre worse the turning circle.

M/T in general have greater stopping distance in the wet then equivalent A/T. OK going back to an old study M/t had at least 10% greater stopping distance in the wet then A/T.

Spacers, increase offset of wheel, will not go down arguent of more stress (or not) on wheel bearing. Inform insurace company.


Tyres can cost s. Long life of tyres hope offset price. BFG will do 60k+ miles with ease.

Our choice of tyres are BFG M/T & KM2 255/85/16. On Puma anthracite Zu rims

I have to say I like this idea, get a good look and you don't have to cram even more parts into an overflowing garage. I have a question though.
Do you take your alloys to a normal refurb place or do you take them to a specialized place and get them powder coated?
I am looking at the Edinburgh and I have found an area at Pentland that has both kinds of coatings. Can anybody recommend a place around the Edinburgh area or south.
