Had a hard time selling my 2011 110 XS with about 6000 miles - It was too near a new one which people prefer to buy and not many people want to spend over 20K for a Defender anyway. Sold privately for 23.5K which was the top trade price, most traders it was 21K

Won't be doing that ever again

Made it back on the next purchase though - Phew!

I remember that day well, was the day I decided to by a defender, gods honest truth

I was told that day green lanning with you lot and discocuzzy, sonic and higgers the D3/D4 was unreliable and the defender was the best move from the D3 they had made, 'get yourself a true off roader, the defenders the nuts'

(their bad mouthing of the D3 was tounge in cheek )

I was selling the my D3 at the time and was on slightly slick road tyres, had not decided what I wanted to replace it with.....until then...

2-6 months after buying my defender

them 3 were roaming in D4's and a D3 saying 'oh so brilliant, what comfort and luxury, nasty defenders'

Tony i remember the racing slicks you had on in the snow

i'm still surprised you got everywhere the Defenders did with those tyres on
