Alternative Mudflap material
We have a customer who thinks that the original Land Rover mudflaps are too stiff. He is looking for an alternative.
Any idea folks? Photos would be helpful.

Have suggested small shackles and a bit of string onto rear bumperette.

Apparently he used that trick when rallying Mk2 Mexico's.

However really looking for alternative mudflap material.

Earlier 90/110 mudflaps .. the current ones [TD5 onwards] are much stiffer than the earlier 200/300 tdi flaps were.

Only issue would be the n/s/r on a 90 .. no exhaust cut out Guns and Landrovers .... anything else is irrelevant.

Yep, conveyor belt rubber, the stuff with canvas type sandwiched in between. Offcuts can be had for pence or nothing from suppliers. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades.
Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW.

I used old conveyor belt as suggested by the other guys, works a treat and will last forever, and you can cut them whatever shape/size you want.

Years ago I got hold of a load of industrial conveyor belt.
I made hundreds of 'everlasting' mudflaps for friends.
Sadly none left now.

This sounds like more good stuff to collect for future projects (you should see my basement Shocked ) Tell someone you love them today because life is short.
But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing...
