loss of power
just had a lift back from oxford in my mates 110 td5 ,and we had a sort of loss of power, just like if you put your front on the brake for a second ,about 60mph , it happen twice then we loss power and could only do just about 50?? Shocked
i ideas

Pull the red ( I think !) connector on the ECU and see if there is any oil. If there is, new injector harness and a few days to let the residual oil drain from the rest of the loom.

If you're now limited to 50mph ish, it sounds like it's gone into limp home more (ignition off, or battery disconnect for a few minutes should clear it)

Sounds to me like the turbo over-boosted and freaked it out. could have overboosted due to the aforementioned siezed wastegate actuator.

It happened to me on my first 110 Td5... although that was self inflicted as I had shortened the actuator rod in the vain attempt to get some more ooomph out of it Laughing Laughing

sorry for the late reply i found it ,it was the bottom hose on the airbox ,after looking every where else Mad .the filter was damp and very dirty ,gave my mate a bollo--ing Rolling Eyes
