2016 Defender 130 Puma 2.2 HCPU Santorini Black

First part to fall off my 6000miler

Wife came home a bit shook up today.

Big bang and clatter from Defender on way home from work. Seems the steering damper has detached itself and bounced along the underside on it's way free. Must admit, I'd noticed a slight shimmy between 60-70mph and thought a weight had come off a wheel last Friday. I then went to Japan with work so couldn't follow it up.

Hmm. 1951 80" S1 2.0

Now you see you've gone and got me all worried now sooo. Just been under mine as it has 5.3K on it and all seems good so sorry for that family mad!

At least you have your'e warranty to enjoy the deligfhts of a new one. Strange that it would detach from both ends unless it detached from one end and the leveraged itself off the other as it was hanging down, ho-pe it didn't do any damage on it's journey under the car!

The delights of the seies 2 no steering damper to worry about on those chaps!!.
