Embarassed Sorry!

It sounds like you have it in good hands locally, but if you need any assistance then let me know.

Really Censored off about this and insisted that they fit a new unit not recon but how will I know ?

I bought new a 90 in 2003 had gearbox issues at 160 miles to find out on gearbox number 4 that the previous units were recon units not new Shocked 993 Varioram - Guards Red

When slowing down its as if transmission is hanging up on the handbrake also at speed shudder through floor.. They slackened off handbrake but it still did it. 993 Varioram - Guards Red

Always after say 10 miles once warmed up. Dealer sent a technician out with me this morning he said they have had problems with the judder when slowing down. He reckons it due to handbrake shoes slipping out of alignment. On our run this morning when it started juddering by lightly applying hand brake it was as if the shoes re aligned and judder dissappeared for a while then came back after a few miles. So I am stlii confused why the bneed to replace transfer box. 993 Varioram - Guards Red

What have they changed in the design of the handbrake that's caused this then, as it's been fine for the past 30 odd years!?
