Two children were walking to school taking a shortcut through a field. They came across an injured bird. As they were unable to take it to school they looked for somewhere safe to put it until they returned after school. As they were in a hurry they put the bird down and surrounded it with a wall of dried cow pats to give it shelter. A short time later a fox came by, found the bird and ate it.
The moral of the story.....
