Could you post the whole set up? i too have a defender with wheel on the back door and I'm a keen mountain biker (bike is on the back of car about 5 times a week) and looking at better alternatives to my current set up.. cheers |

I have a pendle, the good thing about pendle is, I had the two bars that come out of the towbar bracket for a 4 bike rack, but I only have 2 bikes on, this gives me the clearance for the tyre, plus loads of room for 2 bikes without them all being stuffed together which avoids scratching...
So, to re-cap, you could ring pendle, ask for a 2 bike wheel support rack, but send the 2 bars for a 4 bike ![]() |

It would be stronger turning it around 180 degrees which is the way i've fitted mine as per the instructions. 130 crew cab

noted...it is a lash up of two parts. the spacer is from a dixon bate product. i'll turn it around tomorrow and see how that works. still feels 'work in progress'...
i like proper OEM stuff (read normally more expensive ![]() |

I personally would like to see the tow ball bolts going all the way through to the drop plate, so the welds are not the part taking the full trailer load.
I presume that is what is in the tubes on a 130? ![]() ![]() |
