110 rear doors!
Well it looks like my rear doors have finally given into the rust monster. The bottom is gone on both of them and the drivers side door is starting to go around the lock unit too

I've seen doors on ebay at reasonable money, but wondered if anyone on here knows of good places to buy replacement doors?

I heard something about the modern Defenders using different materials so they don't rust from the inside out any more? Is that true and if so do they fit the TD5?

Ashtree land rovers in Andover make and sell brand new doors, they are also regulars at the shows so you can see the quality, they are steel and galvanised.

You may also find some on ebay but be carefull due to "ownership issues"

I take the steel and galv versions won't eat themselves like the originals do?

I guess so, as long as you keep the drain holes clean and don't drill and other holes in the doors Thumbs Up

If you get doors like this you can treat the inside so that rust should not be an issue. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel
