Germany 2011 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Santorini Black
Short trip to switzlerland
I had to visit customers in switzerland and took my Puma for the 2 days trip - 1.200 km "Autobahn" ... so I needed at least a bit more "Defender-typical" environment. So I took the long way home. Just a handful of pics Wink

Niffko, looks impressive, and pictures taken in a beautiful country. Very Happy Whistle
But a question about the snorkel you have fitted. Looks like it is not feeding the engine air intake, (original being on the side of the wing), but the car heater intake. How does that work, not sure I understand? Did you rerout the engine air intake to the top of the wing or so? I always see snorkels feeding the original sidewing air intake. There is no point of snorkel feeding the heater intake of course, so... Question Question You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

The complete original setup and all this plastic-nonsense was removed. Instead an increased air intake with a conversion kit for the air filter box and straightening of the intake was implemented. Much more air going straight in ... and everything was sealed an waterproofed.

The side input is no longer used for the engine - only for the heating.
